Eating less calories.

Weight loss means changing your eating habits. Even small changes can make a big difference. Cut out the extra biscuit or two. Choose semi skimmed milk rather than full fat. Aim for a balanced diet, there are many to choose from. Eating 250 to 500 less calories per day should help you lose a pound or two a week. It may not sound much but it all helps. Measure your food portions with the help of a diet plate.

Add some form of regular exercise to your normal routine. Find something that's easy to do and doesn't require expensive equipment. Leave your car in the drive and walk to the shops. Use the stairs and not the lift. Get off the bus a stop or two earlier.
